The Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD is built for hard work - towing heavy caravans, hauling tools through the week, heading off-grid with a loaded tray and canopy. The factory suspension not suitable for our Australian conditions nor can it control the 2500HD. When towing or load carrying is usually where the suspension issues show up first. 60mm digressive piston

The large 60mm piston gives better damping control without giving up ride comfort.

Digressive valving lets the suspension soak up small imperfections smoothly while keeping firm control over the bigger movements.

The B60 body measures 66mm externally, which means more oil volume and more thermal capacity – big enough that there is no need for a remote reservoir to hold performance under heavy loads and long corrugations.

Monotube gas pressure design

The B60 runs a monotube design with higher oil capacity than the twin-tube shocks fitted to many factory setups, so it cools better and stays consistent.

That matters because shock fade is one of the biggest problems for heavy vehicles on corrugations or towing large loads.

More oil volume means lower operating temperatures and steadier damping over long stretches with the ability to handle corrugations with ease without shock fade.

Fox have an alloy body with a steel piston this steel piston wears the inside of the body out and require constant servicing which is recommended every 30,000klms which means your truck is off the road anywhere from 1-2 weeks pending freight and logistics.

The Fox shocks work out to be way more expensive in the long run and inconvenient when servicing.

Bilstein B60’s do not need to be serviced they use a steel body and steel piston.
