The Polyair Bellows Ultimate load assist kits are specifically designed to suit big American SUV’s and 4WD’s. With an internal bump stop to help absorb shock, even with zero air pressure, it provides a three-stage ride comfort.

Ideal for large American 2WD and 4Wd trucks such as Dodge, Ram, Chev 2500HD, GMC 2500HD, Ford ‘F’ Series and Toyota Tundra. Also suitable for large caravans, 5th wheelers and heavy horse floats.
The Polyair Ultimate Bellows are rated at 2,800KG and can be used up to 100 PSI. They have separate airlines to each bag to stop sway and give better handling and ride control under all types of road and off-road conditions.
On the Ram utes they fit beside the coil springs, and with all other utes they fit between the rear axle and chassis.
They are ideal for use with air inflation kits including the popular Polyair Wireless Remote Compressor Kits.

Correctly adjusted airbags can help bring a loaded vehicle back towards its normal ride height, reduce rear-end sag and improve stability and handling. The correct setup and pressure will depend on the vehicle, load and towing application.
No. Load-assist airbags do not automatically increase the manufacturer's GVM, GCM or towing capacity. They assist the existing suspension in managing load and maintaining ride height, but the vehicle must still remain within its applicable vehicle, axle and towing limits.
The correct kit depends on your vehicle's make, model, year and suspension configuration, including whether it is standard height or has raised suspension. Thor offers airbag suspension solutions across many popular Australian 4WDs, utes and vans, so vehicle details should be confirmed before ordering.
Many Polyair Bellows Ultimate load-assist kits are designed as bolt-on installations and are supplied with installation guidance. Thor also provides installation information and video support. Installation requirements vary by vehicle, so the instructions for the specific kit should always be followed; professional installation is a sensible option where the customer isn't confident with suspension work.
No. Polyair Bellows Ultimate Airbag Suspension requires a minimum of 5 PSI in the airbags at all times, even when the vehicle is not towing or carrying a heavy load. On applications where the original bump stops are removed during installation, maintaining at least 5 PSI allows the airbag to provide bump-stop support while helping protect the airbag and suspension system.
Technically, No. When fitting air bags you remove the bump stops. Running 5PSI in the air bags allows them to act as bump stops.

The correct pressure depends on the vehicle and the load being carried.
Polyair Bellows Ultimate recommends starting around 30 psi and adjusting the pressure for ride comfort and vehicle levelling. Thor states a maximum pressure of 150 psi for its Load Assist airbags and recommends maintaining approximately 5 psi on rough roads to help prevent the bellows from bottoming out. Always follow the instructions supplied for the specific kit fitted to your vehicle.
